Objectives and competences
• Knowledge of advanced computer integrations in production.
• Knowledge of the building blocks of modern integrated processing systems: machine tools, measuring machines, robots, transport devices, serving devices.
• Knowledge of information and communication technologies relevant to the integration of manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of automatic tagging and object identification.
• Knowledge of the content, construction and use of databases.
• Understanding the operation and application of machine vision for quality control, measurement, and automatic defect detection.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of predictive analytics and the use of artificial intelligence methods for predicting tool wear, failures, or deviations in production.
• Development of analytical thinking and the ability to connect data technologies with real technological challenges.
• Ability to work independently and in teams on designing solutions for supporting and optimizing machining systems.

• analyze the operation of machining lines, machining centers and machining cells

• analyze the use of digital technologies in manufacturing systems
• explain and evaluate different technologies of automatic marking and identification in manufacturing systems
• explain and evaluate the use of information and communication technologies in manufacturing systems
