Objectives and competences

• To understand the concepts and usefulness of hands-free and digital presentation techniques, • to become acquainted with the full range of new computer-aided technologies, • to understand the usefulness of specific hardware and software to support the design and presentation of products in the fields of textiles and mechanical engineering, • to understand the usefulness of 2.5D graphics design software, • to understand the tools and procedures for creating multimedia virtual catalogues.

Computer hardware and software for designing virtual catalogues ? 2.5D visualisation techniques ? Usability of presentation techniques and virtual catalogues for producers and for supporting the web-based trade - Design of personal digital portfolios, presentation webpages and e-catalogues

• Analysis of the usefulness of hands-free and digital presentation techniques, • synthesis of knowledge in the field of new computer-aided technologies, • evaluation of the usefulness of 2.5D graphics design software, • analysis of the usefulness of hardware and software to support the design and presentation of different products in the fields of textiles and mechanical engineering, • analysis and evaluation of tools and procedures for creating multimedia virtual catalogues.

Intended learning outcomes - transferable/key skills and other attributes

? Ability to creatively use specific computer programmes for design and presentation of different objects related to textile and mechanical engineering.
