Objectives and competences
The course Project-Oriented Strategic Management provides an in-depth understanding of the role of projects in shaping the future of organizations, and their integration into the organizational life cycle. It focuses on the interplay between strategic and project management and develops practical skills for launching and executing strategies, managing the portfolio of strategic projects, and optimizing resources.

- Project-Oriented Strategic Management (POSM) – from formulation to the realization of organizational strategies.
- Strategy launch and management of challenges in forming entry project strategies.

- Ensuring and optimizing resource utilization during the execution of a portfolio of strategic projects.
- Organizational solutions for project-oriented strategic management.

Additional information on implementation and assessment - written exam or continuous assessment with midterms (70%)
- case study (30%)
Written exam or continuous assessment with midterms - written exam or two midterms covering all main thematic areas. The student must achieve at least 40% of possible points on each midterm and at least 56% of all combined possible points on both midterms.
Case study - team preparation of a case study of an organisational solution for the project implementation of strategies.
