Objectives and competences
Students are able to distinguish and analyse the functionality of business IT solutions. They are able to apply appropriate methods for deploying business IT solutions.
Content (Syllabus outline)
Course consists of following topics: business process redesign, and methods of business process redesign, business information systems, business information systems selection process, implementation methods, support and activities after implementation, development trends in the field of business information solutions.

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
Students in this course:
1. review the concepts of business information systems and their implementation in organisations
2. systematically build on their knowledge of ERP solutions (PILO 2a, PILO 3b)
3. be trained to apply theoretical knowledge in the implementation of integrated IT solutions (PILO 2a, PILO 3a)
4. be trained to apply theoretical knowledge in the use of other business IT solutions (PILO 2a, PILO 3a)
5. gain practical experience in the use of ERP solutions (PILO 3b, PILO 3c)
6. be aware of the ethical and sustainability aspects in the implementation and use of business IT solutions (PILO 4a, PILO 4c)
