Objectives and competences
Student will
• develop a critical understanding of key research approaches and research paradigms
• be prepared for an independent planning and execution of empirical research in the field of nursing (appropriate conceptualization of the research problem, literature review, development of theoretically defined research questions, selection and justification of an appropriate research approaches, data collection and data analysis methods, interpretation of results, forming the conclusions relevant for practice, education, administration and further research)
• be able to evaluate the quality of empirical research
• be able independently prepare research report and dissiminate the results of research following the standards and criteria for writing the scientific papers
