Objectives and competences

Main attention is devoted to coordination and efficient management of resources (people, materials, technologies and systems) which are needed in production and trade of goods and services. Supply chain management usually incorporates purchasing, materials management and logistics. Students will attain knowledge on how goods, information and services flow between firms and their customers.

Knowledge and Understanding: ? students will learn about tools for analysis and improvement of business processes which can be used to improve customer satisfaction in business results; ? students will be capable of wholistic view on connections between business functions of different firms.

Transferable/Key Skills and other attributes: ? capability of using logistics concepts in global environment; ? capability of organising efficient operations in different macrologistics environments.
