For Free Elective Unit 1, students can choose a unit from the selection offered for Free Elective Unit 1 FS (Advanced Machining and Forming Systems or Integrated Manufacturing Systems or Goal Driven Product Development) or any other unit from those offered in second-cycle (master’s) programmes at UM FS, other UM member institutions or other universities, with a total value of at least 6 ECTS credits. For Free Elective Unit 2, students can choose a unit from the selection offered for Free Elective Unit 2 FERI (Machine Visino or Nanorobotics) or any other unit from those offered in second-cycle (master’s) programmes at UM FERI, other UM member institutions or other universities, with a total value of at least 6 ECTS credits.
