For Elective Unit FS 1, students can choose a unit from the selection offered for Elective Unit FS 1 (Advanced Machining and Forming Systems or Integrated Manufacturing Systems or Goal Driven Product Development). For Elective Unit FERI 2, students can choose a unit from the selection offered for Elective Unit FERI 2 (Machine Visino or Nanorobotics). For Free Elective Unit students can choose a unit from the selection offered for Free Elective Unit (Virtual Engineering Systems, Mechatronic Control and Servo Systems, Modelling of Dynamical Systems) or any other unit from programmes at UM FS, UM FERI, other UM member institutions or other universities, with a total value of at least 6 ECTS credits.
