Access requirements
Candidates who completed the following may apply for the 2nd-cycle (master’s) study programme in Management in Health and Social Welfare:
1. A 1st-cycle (bachelor’s) study programme in the relevant fields: 031 - Social and behavioral sciences, 032 - Journalism, communication and information science, 04 - Business and administrative sciences, law, 06 - Information and communication technologies (ICT), 09 - Health and welfare.
2. A 1st-cycle (bachelor’s) study programme in other professional fields: 01 - Educational sciences and teacher education, 02 - Arts and humanities, 05 - Natural sciences, mathematics and statistics, 07 - Engineering, production technologies and construction, 08 - Agriculture, forestry, fisheries and veterinary medicine, 10 - Transport, security, hospitality and tourism, personal services, if before enrolling in the study program, the candidate has completed the study obligations essential for continuing his/her studies in the amount of 11 ECTS, which the candidate can complete during his/her studies at the first cycle or by taking differential exams before enrolling in the study program. Candidate have to complete the following obligations: Sociology of Health and Disease 5 ECTS (FHSV) and Theories of Organization and Management 6 ECTS (FOS).
3. Higher education professional study program, accepted before 11.6.2004, in the relevant professional fields: 031 - Social Sciences and Behavioral Sciences, 032 - Journalism, Communication and Information Science, 04 - Business and Administrative Sciences, Law, 06 - Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), 09 - Health and welfare.
4. Higher education professional study program, adopted before 11.6.2004, from other professional fields: 01 - Educational Sciences and Teacher Education, 02 - Arts and Humanities, 05 - Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, 07 - Engineering, Production Technologies and Construction, 08 - Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Veterinary Science, 10 - Transport, Security, Hospitality and Tourism, Personal Services, if before enrolling in the study program, the candidate has completed the study obligations essential for continuing studies in the amount of 11 ECTS, which the candidate can complete during the first-cycle studies or by taking differential exams before enrolling in the study program. The following obligations have to be completed: Sociology of Health and Disease 5 ECTS (FHS) and Theories of Organization and Management 6 ECTS (FOS).
5. University study program, adopted before 11.6.2004, in the relevant professional fields: 031 - Social Sciences and Behavioral Sciences, 032 - Journalism, Communication and Information Science, 04 - Business and Administrative Sciences, Law, 06 - Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), 09 - Health and Social Security. Such a candidate is generally granted 60 ECTS within the study program, and he/she is enrolled in the second year of study if, with the recognized obligations, he/she meets the conditions for transition specified in the accredited study program.
6. University study program, adopted before 11.6.2004, from other professional fields: 01 - Educational Sciences and Teacher Education, 02 - Arts and Humanities, 05 - Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, 07 - Engineering, Production Technologies and Construction, 08 - Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Veterinary Science, 10 - Transport, Security, Hospitality and Tourism, Personal Services. Such a candidate is granted up to 30 ECTS within the study program, and he/she is enrolled in the first year of study accordingly.
7. Higher education professional study program, adopted before 11.6.2004, and study program for obtaining specialization, adopted before 11.6.2004, in the relevant professional fields: 031 - Social Sciences and Behavioral Sciences, 032 - Journalism, Communication and Information Science, 04 - Business and Administrative Sciences, Law, 06 - Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), 09 - Health and Social Security. Such a candidate is generally recognized within the study program 60 ECTS, and he/she is enrolled in the second year of study if, with the recognized obligations, he/she meets the conditions for transition determined by the accredited study program.
8. Higher education professional study program, adopted before 11.6.2004, and study program for obtaining specialization, adopted before 11.6.2004, from other professional fields: 01 - Educational sciences and teacher education, 02 - Arts and humanities, 05 - Natural sciences, mathematics and statistics, 07 - Engineering, production technologies and construction, 08 - Agriculture, forestry, fisheries and veterinary medicine, 10 - Transport, security, catering and tourism, personal services. Such a candidate is recognized within the study program up to 30 ECTS, and he/she is enrolled in the first year of study accordingly.
