Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

Knowledge and Understanding Knowledge base – the learner: ? has great depth and systematic understanding of a field of qualitative research in a business field. Ethical issues – the learner: ? can analyse and manage ethical dilemmas to formulate solutions in a field of qualitative research Disciplinary methodologies – the learner: ? has a comprehensive understanding of techniques / methodologies in the field of qualitative research. ? can select appropriate qualitative research approach for chosen research problem. ? will be capable to use some of the qualitative research methods independantly. Cognitive and Intellectual Skills The learner: ? Analysis: with critical awareness, can undertake analysis of qualitative research methods, techniques and reseach topic. ? Evaluation: has a critical capacities that allows independent evaluation of qualitative research and methodologies. Can argue alternative approaches. ? Application: can act independently in research planing and implementing qualitative methods and techniques in solving research tasks Key / Transferable Skills The learner will be: ? capable lead /work effectively with group, ? able to use full range of learning resources, ? reflective on own and others’ functioning, ? capable to guides and supports the learning of others and ? capable to manage own continuing professional development. Practical Skills ? Application of skills: learner can operate in complex and unpredictable / specialised contexts that may be at the forefront of knowledge. ?
