Objectives and competences
Objectives and competences for each unit in Transferable skills are specific. Only cases for some unites will be described:
Ad 1. Selection and application of relevant scientific publications for analytical overview of the field. Synthesis of selected scientific publications and evaluation of importance for candidate’s doctoral research.
Ad 4. Candidate recognizes Intellectual property by types, which regulation is relevant and what are the requirement for registration and protection. Candidate learns how we create, use and transfer IP.

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
The results of course Transferable skills are:
Ad 2. Candidate material of “Research ethics” analyzes, why it is important. Studies and evaluates specific types of ethics, maces comparative analysis, differentiates, criticizes. Prepares concluding findings, specifies by categories and describes them.
Ad 4. Candidate recognizes Intellectual property by types. Categorizes regulation and can integrate violations with Criminal law. Regarding requirements and ways to protest intellectual property rights plans IP management. Suggests processes for creating, use and transfer of IP.

Additional information on implementation and assessment Head of doctoral program evaluates course transferrable skills based on presentation and/or submission of possible relevant documents about completion or participation of/in relevant transferrable skills. Course Transferrable skills will be assessed with "passed" or "not passed".
