Objectives and competences
Main course objective is to give students an additional profound knowledge and understanding of funcioning of government in the field of public finance, understanding the effects of public finance activities and measures on economic agents and economy in general. In such a way students have a level of conceptual understanding and critical capacities that allow independent evaluation of public finance activities of government.

Contemporary findings in the field of:
- allocation function of public finance
- taxes, tax burdens, tax incidence
- the effects of taxes in the economy
- public expenditures and their effects in the economy
- the role of the government in icome redistribution
- public debt and fiscal deficit
- long-term sustainability of public finance
- the role of fiscal policy in environmental protection

Student passes the exam, when each part of the examination is evaluated as positiv.
