Objectives and competences

The course International Economic Order enables students to gain an in-depth understanding of international relations, ecology and cultural differences. Students develop competencies for independent research in the field of globalization (origins, causes, valuation, impact on environment), with an emphasis on understanding of ethics in international business and cultural differences.

Learning and teaching methods

1. Student will critically assess and deeply understand the international relations, ecology and cultural differences. (PILO 2a) 2. Student will systematically identify and analyse processes of globalization by integrating theoretical knowledge and practical examples. (PILO 1a, PILO 2a) 3. Student will develop the ability to perform in international multicultural environment. (PILO 2b, PILO 2c) 4. Student will master methodologies for independent research in the field of globalization, including critical analysis and synthesis of relevant information. (PILO 3a) 5. Student will effectively communicate international business strategies. (PILO 3b) 6. Student will apply acquired theoretical knowledge for practical engagement and solving specific challenges in international business. (PILO 3c) 7. Student will develop skills for independent work and leadership in solving short tasks in teams, improving communication and collaborative abilities. (PILO 3c) 8. Student will develop and demonstrate ethical decision-making with consideration of cultural differences in international business. (PILO 4a) 9. Student will critically evaluate the impact of globalization on environment and society.
