Objectives and competences
The basic aim is in analyzing the strategic approach to human resource management which is based on the integration of HR function with the strategic aims of the firm. The fields for discussion are as follows: introduction of the strategic management process with the aim to understand the role of HR in all of its phases and activities, examination of various HR strategy models and their evaluation, study of particular dimensions of strategic HRM, definition of international aspect of strategic HRM as well as stress management as one of the dimensions of strategic HRM. Students will acquire the needed knowledge for their further individual education and training on the field of strategic HRM with studying mentioned themes.
