Objectives and competences
In this course students:
1. Consolidate and upgrade basic theoretical knowledge about the role of the government (state) in the economy and specifically in the health sector.
2. They learn how market failures affect the health sector and the government's (state) response.
3. Learn to use of the basic tools of economic analysis of health and health care.
4. Know to analyze the social insurance with economic analysis tools.

3. The main economic analysis of the health and health care (supply, demand, costs, efficiency)
