Objectives and competences
In this course students:
1. Are familiarised with the basic terminology used in various fields of economics and business.
2. Develop specific listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through simple business texts.
3. Develop specific business communication skills (can introduce him/herself, talk about the company, his/her job) in every-day and professional situations.
4. Develop positive attitude and tolerance towards cultural differences and speakers of foreign languages.
Content (Syllabus outline)
Various general and business topics are studies in order to achieve basic language confidence in different business situations (i.e. can introduce him/herself, talk about the company, his/her job, can interact in a simple way provided that the other person talks slowly and clearly in a foreign language).

Prerequisits
Beginners or basic knowledge of the German language equivalent to level A1.
