Content (Syllabus outline)
The purpose of the Specialisation Project is to deepen the student’s understanding of selected e-business topics through practical work. These topics may include digital transformation, the use of business information solutions, web solution development, digital marketing, data management, artificial intelligence, process automation, and the use of modern ICT tools. The project is carried out in collaboration with various organisations (private, public, non-profit, or non-governmental) or as a simulation in a real or virtual environment.
The student becomes familiar with the characteristics of core and supporting business processes, especially those related to their field of specialization. Within the project, the student works independently or in a team to solve problems, plan, and execute specific activities that involve the use of modern information solutions (e.g., WordPress, Dynamics 365, SAP, SharePoint, Power Platform, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
Through this, the student acquires practical knowledge, digital competencies, and hands-on experience with tools and methods essential for future professions such as digital transformation specialist, business process analyst, BI analyst, CRM specialist, or web solution developer.
The results and experience gained through the project can be used for writing the thesis or completing assignments in specialized courses.
Each academic year, the project plan is developed at the level of the specialization track, depending on the number of students, partner projects, and available mentors. The project usually includes a seminar where the student presents the functionality and practical use of a selected tool or concept to peers.
