Objectives and competences
In this course students:
1. Enhance their theoretical knowledge in the field of business information solutions implementation and are able to apply it.
2. Gain the ability to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice in the business information solutions implementation field.
3. Acquire approaches to implement ERP solutions
4. Acquire advanced knowledge of basic theoretical approaches in the field of information systems
Content (Syllabus outline)
The course constists of fthe ollowing topics:
- Modern concepts of business information solutions (ERP solutions)
- SAP HANA platform and the suite of integrated business applications SAP Business Suite
- SAP ERP or S/4HANA solution (work environment and concepts)
- Business processes in SAP ERP or S/4HANA (procurement process, production process, sales process, processes in finance and controlling, product lifecycle management process, inventory management and warehousing process, enterprise asset management process, service process, program and project management processes, human capital management processes)
- Reference models
- Business reporting in SAP ERP or S/4HANA
- SAP Activate methodology for implementation
- Using artificial intelligence in SAP solutions
- Green IT concepts in SAP solutions
- Setting up IT consultancy companies
As part of the course, one of the ERP solutions will be presented in more detail, with which students will work practically. The seminar will cover the functionalities and practical use of the SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HANA solution.
