Objectives and competences
Students will:
• develop communicational competence in German business language and adopt simple business terminology;
• develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through simple business texts;
• use autonomous the basics of the German grammar in practical business situations.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• The basics of business communication in the German language (introducing him/herself, talk about the company/workplace/ his/her job, making arrangements)
• Selected grammar at A1/A2 level of the Common EU Framework

Knowledge and understanding:
Students:
• Learn the basics of expressing themselves in German in the field of economics and business.
• Are able to make business conversation on the phone/ are able to write short business messages in German at basic level.
• Learn to managae several situations in professional and everyday life in German.

• Can collect and arrange data and ideas.
• Students develop greater independence of thought and the ability to solve problems.
