Objectives and competences

In this course students: 1. Acquire awareness about quality to be a set of measurable characteristics of a process, product or service 2. Enhance their theoretical knowledge in the field of management with the knowledge of quality system according to international standard ISO9001 3. Enhance their theoretical knowledge of management with other international standards and models that directly or indirectly integrate the notion of improving satisfaction of interested parties (TQM, ISO14001, EFQM, 6sigma, 20 keys, quality costs, benchmarking, ...) 4. Acquire the approach to analysis of quality with the most important tools of quality management 5. Acquire basic understanding of requirements for sustainability

Understand the tools of monitoring and improving quality 6. Understand interrelationship between quality and sustainability
