Objectives and competences
Content (Syllabus outline)
The course presents the history of various modes of classification of literary works, whereby the period of Romanticism needs to be pointed, since it denotes the formation of the teaching about three major literary forms or hyper-forms (lyric, epic, drama). The theories in question are the so called main literary forms/genres
(Epic poem, novel, tragedy, comedy, drama …) and aesthetic convention that determine the formation of the so called “minor” literary forms/genres (poem, satire, ode, elegy, fable, fairy tale, short story…) and half-literary forms/genres (sermon, aphorism, essay…).
Learning and teaching methods
Methods: lectures, group work, seminar paper, individual study, discussion.
The information and communications technology is used for educational purposes in the teaching and learning process.

Participation in tutorial and an attendance of 80% of lectures.
