Objectives and competences
Students get review over social interaction, social influence colective phenomena and special themes in social psychology. They expand their knowledge in sociopsychological concepts and conceptualisations. They deepen their knowledge in sociopsychological methodology and
direct in applicative psychological and sociopsychological approaches.
Content (Syllabus outline)
An overview of the fields of social interaction and influence, group processes, inter-group and collective phenomena.
Prejudice, steretypes, dicrimination.
Prosocial and antisocla behavior.
Introduction to special fields and the applied social psychology.

The student will be able to identify different aspects of social influence.
The student will deepen his/her knowledge and understanding of the subject of contemporary social psychology in the field of group and intergroup phenomena.
The student will learn about the applied aspects of social psychology in everyday life.

The student will be able to critically evaluate the knowledge acquired and transfer it to everyday life.
The student will be able to relate the findings of social psychology to other related scientific disciplines.

Each of the mentioned commitments must be assessed with a passing grade.
Passing grade of completed lab work is required for taking the written examination.
At least 50% attendance at lectures and 80% attendance at tutorials is required.
