Students:
- understand the structure of settlements,
- get acquainted to the modern processes in settlements and urban areas,
- get qualification for a morphological, social geographical and economic geographical analysis and geographical intepretation of the settlements structure.

- uderstanding of human (social) space and the issues that built it,
- the abbility for applying some analyses of settlement structure,
- relating the issues that built the settlement.
