Objectives and competences
The course:
- expands and intensifies basic knowledge of German systemic grammar and vocabulary
- familiarizes with semantic, cognitive, culturally specific and intercultural aspects of vocabulary
- familiarizes with pedagogical grammar
- trains for work with pedagogical grammar
- trains for analysis and evaluation of grammar contents in grammar books and other language manuals.
Content (Syllabus outline)
The course deals with two broader themes:
1. Grammar:
- Grammar from the viewpoint of language acquisition/learning
- Pedagogical grammar
- Grammar in teaching materials and dictionaries
2. Vocabulary:
- Vocabulary from the viewpoint of language acquisition/learning
- Mental lexicon
- Vocabulary from interlingual and intercultural perspectives
