Objectives and competences

The objectives of this course are to: - to evaluate the single language varieties, their forms, prestige, position and dessemination today in Germany, Austria and Switzerland; - analyse the language materials; - to plan the role of the language varieties in the specific context of the teaching german as a foreign language, but also as a language of the neighbours.
