Objectives and competences
The aim of this subject is to
• enable students to use German language appropriate and as a medium in professional life
• upgrade the knowledge of writing and oral skills and develop writing and oral presentation of different texts
• enable students to formulate an appropriate and accurate written and spoken text as a condition for a critical and individual work with different text types
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Explanation the differences between oral and written communication
• dealing with linguistic means
• dealing with different cohesive devices for the formation of a coherent text,
• formation of different written and spoken texts (summary, comment, essay, report, discussion, presentation and /or other)
• development of capability of producing written and spoken texts in German on level C1

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
On completion of this course students will:
• be able to write and oral to present a coherent, linguistically and stylistically adequate text (summary, comment, essay, report and / or other)
• know and recognize the characteristics of different written and spoken text types
• use, analyse and evaluate the appropriate linguistic means and the appropriate vocabulary in writing and oral presenting a text.
