Content (Syllabus outline)
Introduction, definitions and basic concepts of structural analysis, structural analysisi of statically determinate structures, kinematics of structures, deflections, stiffness and flexibility, the Force method, the displacement and stiffness methods, basics of the computer programme for the structural analysis.

Prerequisits
None. Recomended knowledge of mathematics, physics, engineering materials, mechanics, structural analysis and structural elements from previous year’s study.
Additional information on implementation and assessment Two passed midterm exams as written exam.
The seminar paper is compiled from the coursework.
In the event of complications in achieving the learning outcomes, an oral examination will be held at the lecturer's discretion.
