- to know the basic sustainable development principles and the meaning of environmental impact assesment for plans, programmes and individual spatial activities - to know and to applicate the environmental legislatin, strategies, programmes at local, regional, national and EU levels, - to project the frame of the environmental suitable solutions of different environmental problems, - to know the »best practice« cases

Content (Syllabus outline)

Basic conceptions, definitions - sustainable development principles - legal and instutional frame: EU and Slovene legislation and the role of local, regional and national level Methodologies and techics of the environmental impact assesments - state of the environment report - stategic environmental impact assesment - environmental impact assesment Reporting and assesment - air protection - groundwater protection - surface water protection - waste management - nois protection - soil protection - nature protection - valuing the sinergetic effects and sumarizing the results analyses Environmental impact assesment of the spatial plans and programmes and individual spatial actions - staregy of spatial and economic development at local, regional and national level - practic project execution - national, regional and local environmental programes - thematic environmental programmes – drinking water supply, waste management, waste water management - sectoral national, regional and local strategies: energetic, traffic, touristic,.. Public involvement in different phases of the document preparation and implementation

- to know the basic sustainable development principles - to understand the the meaning of environmental impact assesment for plans, programmes and individual spatial activities in nature and in the environment as a whole - to know the environmental legislatin, strategies, programmes at local, regional, national and EU levels with the special attention to the environmental impact assesment - to understand the bases of environmental report as a expertise for environmental impact assesment - to understand the importance of the pblic involvement in the environmental metters
