Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

After successful completion of the course the student will be able to: • distinguish between deterministic and stochastic planning • list and describe the building blocks of an integrated planning system • measure the accuracy of the forecast and select the optimal forecasting method • calculate material needs and capacity needs • analyze and optimize production planning processes • list supply master data • organize the collection of production and business data
