Objectives and competences
Develop an understanding of how the Internet works and how Internet technologies can be used for e-business. Develop an understanding of how e-business models function and identify different e-business models in practice. Apply methods for business model innovation based on the business model canvas in a concrete case from practice. Understand the development trends for the digital transformation of organizations. Develop e-business prototype and propose a strategy for its implementation in a practical case. Develop an understanding of how the digital double works for B2B e-commerce.

Knowledge and understanding:
• The student will be able to describe models and types of e-business.
• The student will understand and be able to describe the operation of information technologies for e-business: e-mail, webpages websites, online stores, XML, electronic data interchange, digital marketing, social networks.
• Student will know about implementation methodologies for e-business solutions
• The student will understand the standards for e-business
• The student will be able to analyse e-business opportunities and design a e-business prototype solution for a case from practice
• The student will be able to design a strategy for the introduction of the proposed prototype solution for e-business
