Objectives and competences

Objectives: 1. students will know how the development of the human resource function has progressed, 2. students will be familiar with individual processes of the human resource function, 3. students will be aware of the importance of the individual processes of human resources function, 4. students will understand how the individual processes of the human resource function operate, 5. students will be able to apply various methods and techniques of staffing.

Content (Syllabus outline)

1. organization of HR function, 2. processes and HR function, 3. the process of formation human resource strategy, 4. staffing process: • job analysis, • planning, • recruitment, • selection, • job orientation, 5. the process of human resource development, 6. the process of assurance of the performance of employees, motivation and reward, 7. the process of assurance quality life and other processes (safety at work, labour law activities, information and data protection, general tasks).

• explanation, • presentation, • discussion, • teamwork, • role playing, • moodle learning environment.

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

Knowledge and understanding: • students will be able to describe the human resource function and its organization , • students will be able to describe individual processes of the human resource function , • students will be able to define the importance of the human resource function and its processes for successful business operations, • students will be able to distinguish between the individual processes of the human resource function, • students will be able to define the positive and negative aspects of staffing, • Students will be able to solve problems in the field of human resource function.

Intended learning outcomes - transferable/key skills and other attributes

- ability to work effectively with employees - use of new knowledge for successfully implemented processes of HR function

The prerequisites for the exam are: • Completion of all obligations within lectures (active participation in lectures, completion of all assignments), • Completion of all obligations within the tutorial (completion of all exercises, attendance in all auditory tutorials). •
