Objectives and competences
Objectives:
-acquaint themselves with the development of HR function,
-gain an insight into the individual processes of HR function,
-understand the importance and operation of processes of HR function.
Competences:
-knowledge in the field of human resource functions
-the ability to design and implement human resources function in a work environment
-the ability of critical and analytical thinking in the context of the human resources function
-ability to solve problems in the field of human resource functions
- the ability of the strategic view of the implementation of the human resources function
- orientation to people
- the ability of collaboration and teamwork
Content (Syllabus outline)
1. organization of HR function,
2. processes and HR function,
3. the process of formation human resource strategy,
4. staffing process:
• job analysis,
• planning,
• recruitment,
• selection,
• job orientation,
5. the process of human resource development,
6. the process of assurance of the performance of employees, motivation and reward,
7. the process of assurance quality life and other processes (safety at work, labour law activities, information and data protection, general tasks).

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
Knowledge and understanding:
• students will be able to describe the HR function and its organization ,
• students will be able to describe individual processes of staffing function ,
• students will be able to identify the importance of the HR function and its processes for successful business,
• students will be able to separate individual processes of HR function,
• students will be able to identify the positive and negative aspects of staffing,
• Students will be able to solve problems in the field of HR function.
