Objectives and competences

The student will: • Learn the basic concepts of payroll systems. • Understand the role of pay and the importance of reward in an organisation. • Understand the methods and content of pay system design. • Understand the structures of pay systems in the European Union. • Understand the importance of reward and linking pay to performance.
