At the end of the course, the students will be able to:
• analyse the key requirements for an asset management system
• develop guidance on key asset management requirements at all phases of the asset lifecycle, from acquisition through operation and maintenance to final disposal
• develop the basic building blocks of a strategic asset management plan
• establish a baseline for asset management plans
• assess the level of implementation and use of asset management processes, tools and techniques in the organisation
