Objectives and competences

The student will: • gain knowledge about the theory of science related to innovation, methodology and methods used in innovation management. • understand how innovation initiatives can be planned, applied, monitored and evaluated • understand how to implement and use management tools in the pursuit of a company's innovation strategy

1. Fundamentals of innovation management and creativity 2. Standardization and management systems (SIST EN ISO 56002:2021) 3. Approaches, models, tools and techniques of innovation management improvement 4. Value creation and value capture 5. Business models for value co-creation 6. Examples of good practices and case studies within the wider ?eld of innovation

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

Knowledge and understanding of: At the end of the course, the students will be able to: • develop effective improvement initiatives that provide an innovative solution to real-world problems; • formulate innovation-related current problems and be familiar with the major schools of thought and development trends; • evaluate and analyse innovation processes in organisations; • analyse case studies as an interactive means of investigation and learning.
