Objectives and competences

Student will: 1. achieve in-depth knowledge of project documentation and information systems 2. recognize the specific features of the work in a multi project environment 3. be able to use computer tools to support multiproject work 4. understand modules of project management within comprehensive business software solutions 5. understand the organization of a multi project system in a real environment

Methodological bases: 1. Projects and project management 2. Multi projects and multi project management 3. Project management knowledge areas 4. Including multi projects to business system 5. Project office 6. Project information and documentation systems in multi project environment 7. Organization of multi project system in a specific environment (simulation in the laboratory) Applicative part: 8. Use of computer tools for project management processes support in multi project environment 9. Implementation of multi project system in a specific environment (simulation in the laboratory) 10. Use of project information system modules in assembly of complete information solutions (ERP)

- lectures - laboratory work - exercises supported by information and communication technology - distance learning - student’s self-dependent work - preparing and presentation the seminar dealing with multi project environment

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

Knowledge and Understanding: At the end of the course, students will be able to: • practice multi-project work • lead projects in a multi-project environment • manage the project portfolio • assess the adequacy of the project information system • assess the adequacy of the project documentation system • analyse the possibilities offered by software solutions in support of multi-project work • manage processes in the project office
