Objectives and competences
Student will:
• understand contemporary theories of organizations in the digital era,
• acquire knowledge of legalities of individual models and approaches of the development of an organization and management,
• understand differences between governance and management,
• learn and possess ideas in the field of methodology of organizational change and
• acquire knowledge in the field of mastering organizational conflicts.
Content (Syllabus outline)
Characteristics of the digital era and the development of new organizational and managerial theories.
• Concepts of companies' business models in the digital age.
• Contemporary forms and models of organizations and organizing with a stress on the representation of empirical efficiency and effectiveness of individual forms and models.
• Governance and management concepts.
• Management schools.
• Contemporary theory of organizational and management development in the digital era.
• Methodology of the changing of an organization and organizing (the diagnosis of an organization, the formation of a performed concept, the formation of a new model, mastering the process of implementation and evaluation).

At the end of the course students will be able to:
• understanding regularities in the development of an organization and management,
• know characteristics of individual models and approaches of organizational and management development,
• gain knowledge in the field of organizational analysis and formation of organizational and management models and
• understand the dynamics of organizational conflicts and
• Understand differences between governance and management.
