The student will: • understand the complexity of managing the performance of resources in an organisation. • gain an understanding of the key elements of an asset performance management programme • gain an understanding of the link between asset performance management, Industry 4.0, 5.0, and contemporary asset monitoring strategies • understand the benefits of implementing and applying asset performance management in an organisation

Knowledge and understanding of: At the end of the course, the students will be able to: • identify and define the key elements of asset performance management in an organisation • identify how asset performance management aligns with other strategic organizational objectives • Identify the information and performance measures needed for effective asset management • determine benefits of reliability improvement • develop guidelines for the implementation of asset performance management into organisation
