Objectives and competences

Student will: • understand ICT as strategies for information systems implementation. • understand types of information systems • understand aims and use of specific IS: Business Information Systems, Customer Relationship Management Systems, Project management systems, and document management systems. • understand collaboration information systems, with emphasis on the use of social media for collaboration, marketing and public relations. • understand data acquisition, wearable devices for collecting data, and basic overview of data analytics. • use problem solving skills (in teams), and skills of using design thinking and prototyping methods. • know how to use different AI systems in sport. • understand the ethical issues surrounding the use of AI in sport.

Knowledge and understanding: At the end of the course students will be able to: • perform requirement analysis (ICT needs). • use business information systems, project management solutions, document management solutions, and customer relationship management solutions. • use various collaboration solution and tools (i.e. e-mail, business social media, social media, web sites, mobile applications). • solve problems in teams using design thinking and prototyping methods.
