Objectives and competences

The student will: 1. achieve methodological knowledge of project work in the field of sports 2. Understand the relationships between different groups of participants in a sport projects 3. know the possibilities of integrating projects into other systems 4. know the methods and techniques that allow project management 5. know the IT tools that can be used to support project work

Theoretical and methodological bases: 1. project definition 2. project management definition 3. project manager competencies 4. organization of work at projects in sports 5. project managing and leading project teams at projects in sports 6. project management processes 7. project documentation and project information systems 8. coordination of projects at multi project environment Applicative part: 9. preparing of idea, concept and plan of project in sport with project software tools

Learning and teaching methods

- lectures - exercises supported by project software tools - distance lectures - distance exercises - self-dependent student’s work - preparing and presentation of initialization, concept and plan of the project

Knowledge and Understanding: At the end of the course, students will be able to: • explain the specifics of projects in sport • explain the differences between projects in sport and other processes (regular work) • apply the knowledge needed to participate in project teams • apply the knowledge needed to organize project work in sports • apply the knowledge of organizing and planning project work in sports • manage and coordinate projects in sport • participate in project teams at all levels
