Objectives and competences
Students join the research work and are assigned an independent research task, the results of which are presented in a master's thesis and their academic contributions in the form of papers and articles.
Content (Syllabus outline)
- intelligence corporative doctrine,
- clasical intelligence methods in corporative envirovement,
- open source intelligence methods in corporative enviroment,
- applicability of intelligence reports,
- forms of cooperation in intelligence and security field,
- support to intelligence and security activity,
- private intellegence activity,
- oversight coprorative intelligence,
- counterintelligence and corporative intelligence.
Learning and teaching methods
The subject will be presented in the form of lectures, discussions and consultations with the lecturer. If possible, the study of specific cases published in textbooks will be included in the work.
Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
After the study, students are capable of planning and conducting intelligence and security projects within intelligence and security organizations and in companies. They are also skilled for independent applied research work in the field of corporate security.
Intended learning outcomes - transferable/key skills and other attributes
Through individual work and analysis of specific problems presented in the literature, and by actively participating in research, students will learn about the problems that intelligence and security agencies are faced with in their work.

Additional information on implementation and assessment Student’s commitments: Students write a seminar paper, which is at the same time their master's thesis. Prior to presenting the seminar paper, students take the oral examination, which is the condition for admittance to defending the master's thesis. Students also take an active part in research work.
