Objectives and competences
Student will:
• understand the basics of digital technology in nursing and be familiar with different information systems,
• use basic healthcare terminology used in the digital environment,
• be able to manage and analyse patient health data and be aware of the importance of complete and accurate data,
• know the basics of eHealth and use different eHealth applications and technologies,
• understand the different methods of applying artificial intelligence in nursing,
• be able to identify different types of cybersecurity threats and know different techniques to counter these threats,
• be able to discuss the ethical challenges and legal aspects of the use of digital technologies in healthcare.

• list the different methods of artificial intelligence in nursing,
• know the different types of cyber threats and techniques to counter them,
• explain the different ethical challenges in the field of digital technologies in nursing and know the legal perspective.

Students will get the knowledge on how to use healthcare information systems and will know their value in documenting care process.
