Objectives and competences
The student can produce a model of ergonomic relief for individual work posts and understands the methods that allow health care staff and patients to to in safer environment.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Anthropometry in health care
• Functional anatomy and human physiology
• Specific use of computer technology health care and nursing
• Implementation of theory into practice for safer and ergonomic work with patients
• Simulation of ergonomic workload in healthcare
• Measurement of microclimatic environmental parameters (temperature, moisture, pressure, movement and air quality, sound and noise, light and radiation, detection of gases in working environment)
• Ergonomic organisation of work for nursing team in health institution
Learning and teaching methods
• Lectures (auditory and e-lectures),
• Seminar with demonstrations (auditory and e-seminars); seminar paper on discussed themes
• Laboratory work with simulators Team work and individual work
• Demonstration of ergonomic models and tools

• Recognize ergonomic irregularities in the environment
• analyse anthropo basis in health care
• plan ergonomic work with computer in health care and nursing

• explain ergonomic principles of organising of working team in a health care institute
