On completion of this course the student will be able
to:
• prepare a conference abstract and paper
• define the process of writing, editing, submitting and peer reviewing of publications
• appraise ethical issues in scientific writing, including conflict of interest, authorship, copyright, open access, (self)plagiarism
• organize an effective research presentation and promotion of scientific research work
