Objectives and competences

• Get acquainted with basical musical principals of compositional technique and transplantation of them into practical musical and pedagogical praxis. • Profounding of understanding of musical structures and stylistical specificals from various historical epoches. • On the basis of analysis of gained knowledges and statements to redirect the student into the way of synthesis and evaluation of the materia. • Through the process of imitation and presentation developement of psychomotorical skills by the student. • To develop a kind art of communication with environment and the ability of taking the responsibility.

Content (Syllabus outline)

Theoretical recognition and writing of intervalls, chords and their multi funcionality, diatonical and functionality • Get acquainted with basic principles of the scale of overtone row. • Harmonisation of elemntary diatonical melodies. • The basic principles of voice leading. Making acquainted with tone systems from various historical epoches. • Student should be motivated to develop skills for the use of knowledges in the praxis through the process of understanding the materia. • On the basis of analysis of gained knowledges and statements to redirect the student into the way of synthesis and evaluation of the materia. • Through the process of imitation and presentation developement of psychomotorical skills by the student.

• Individual work with lesson planing. • Project work.

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

Knowledge and Understanding: On completion of this course the student will be able to: • Use the acquired knowledge in executing more complicated practical and analytical skills. • Link theoretical and practical knowledge. Transferable, key Skills and other attributes. Solving problems: the ability to understand and transform musical summaries. The ability of communication with environment, further gained abbility of practical analyzing and practical use uf knowledges.
