Objectives and competences
The objective of the subject is to develop an analytical command over musical notation in the compositional and formative sense as well as understanding and gaining practical command over instrumental skills.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Shaping of a tone.
• Playing and understanding more difficult compositions from different composers and styles.
• Playing and learning more difficult notations.
• Performing the compositions from different music periods.
• Metodical way of playing compositions.
• Shaping of musical expression with use of dinamic, sound colour, agogics and articulation.
• Detailed study of playing techniques in the process of developing an interpretation.
Learning and teaching methods
• Practical work with lesson planing.
• Teaching through modern technology.
Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
On completion of this course the student will be able to
• Use the acquired knowledge in performing less complicated musical works.
• Stylistic interpretation with the basic of analysis.
• Link theoretical and practical knowledge.
