Objectives and competences
The objective of the subject is to develop an analytical command over musical notation in the compositional and formative sense as well as understanding and gaining practical command over instrumental skills.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Playing instrumental compositions regarding the level of previous knowledge.
• Playing compositions from renaissance and early baroque period.
• Playing compositions from baroque period.
• Playing compositions from classical period.
• The proper technique of playing.
• Qualifying for group music performances.
• Further study and development of instrumental techniques through the process of creating an interpretation.
• History of the Western-European instrumental music
