• Becomes familiar with basics of Didactics.
• Training in the planning and implementation of educational processes in kindergarten.
• He can write different kinds of preparation for the lessons.
• He knows how to choose appropriate teaching methods and forms of instruction to guide the pedagogical work.
• Develops interest and skills for educational and teaching work (directing, leading, teaching).
Content (Syllabus outline)
• An introduction to Didactics.
• Definition of basic didactic terms: lesson, learning, teaching, education on elementary level, education, school, kindergarten. Pupil, teacher, educator, child, school system, curriculum, weekly schedule of subjects, timetable.
• Planning in pre-school education. Planning of goals, content, learning environment and ICT. Evaluation of the educational process. Types of teacher training in pre-school education.
• The importance of didactic principles when working with preschool children.
• Using teaching methods and forms when working with preschool children.

Higher education lecture, the method of discourse, problem solving, cooperative learning, individual learning.

• Knows how to define basic didactic terms and explains the correlation between them.
• Explains characteristics of preparations for pedagogical work. Describes and analyzes articulation stages.
• Describes and analyses various roles of educators and teachers when working with children.

Prerequisits
Note: In order to fulfill the study obligations, 80% attendance in the seminar is required.
Completed assignments in seminar are a condition for taking the exam.
