Objectives and competences
The objective of the course is to acquaint the students with:
• the role of physical education in outdoor education,
• the significance of the aesthetic experience in the process of motor learning,
• the affective role of experiential sports activities,
• the socialization role of experiential sports activities,
• examples of experiential sports activities,
• planning, implementing and evaluating experiential sports activities,
• project work on the topic of experiential sports activities.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Experiential pedagogy: premise, philosophical and biological viewpoint, principles of experiential pedagogy.
• Sport in function of experiential pedagogy: emotional experience of movement, sport as a mean of experience/adventure, integrative and social role of sport activities.
• Management of demanding content in the field of physical education.
• The content is supported with fieldwork.

The student will know, understand and/or be able to:
• plan, implement and evaluate experiential sports activities,
• the importance of experiential sports activities for the child's physical, motor, social, and emotional development,
• participate in project work on the topic of experiential sports activities.
