Objectives and competences

acquaint the students with the structure of kinesiology of sporty talented children acquaint the students with the meaning and the role of child’s competitive sport learn the students how to use basic research methods which are useful for accommodating and valuing sport results

Content (Syllabus outline)

• Motor gifted children as a challenge • The role of heredity, environment and their own activities in the development of motor gifted • Talent models • Morphological, motor and functional characteristics of athletes • Identify motor gifted children • Loads of children during training • Planning training by motor gifted children (Preparation of the program of trening, Monitoring exercise, Evaluation of the results) • Early forms of competitive sport • Advantages and disadvantages of competitive sports for children

Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding

detect sporty talented children prepare the practice program for sporty talented children knowing the basic research methods knowing how to observe, test and value the sensory, kinesiologic and functional capabilities of children orient the children into practising in sport fields suitable for them

Intended learning outcomes - transferable/key skills and other attributes

being acquainted with the basics of statistics and methodology being acquainted with the kinesilogic structure of children accuracy and consistence when performing measure procedure
