Objectives and competences
Objectives:
• To acquaint students with theoretical background in motor behaviour research;
• To acquaint students with contemporary characteristics of conducting research and present research in the field of motor behaviour;
• To qualify students to transfer scientific outcomes into practice.
Competences:
• Ability to conduct interdisciplinary research in motor behaviour;
• Ability to transfer scientific work into practice.
Content (Syllabus outline)
Research model in motor control, motor development and motor learning:
• Theoretical background and definition of cornerstones of research;
• Interdisciplinary and dialectic characteristics of research;
• Formation of research problems and selection of adequate research methods;
• Present problems and research;
• Result application.
Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
The student will know, understand and/or be able to:
• Find adequate sources for contemporary expert and scientific work in the field of kinesiology;
• Critically choose adequate information;
• Conduct interdisciplinary research in the field of motor behaviour;
• Transfer results of scientific work into practice.
