Objectives and competences
Students:
• get to know the basic characteristics of the lessons ESS outside the classroom,
• familiarize themselves with the goals in the national curricula in terms of the ability to deliver lessons outside the classroom,
• learn about the opportunities for developing students' skills when teaching outside the classroom,
• learn about the different forms of teaching outside the classroom,
• learn how to plan, implement, and evaluate lessons outside the classroom.
Content (Syllabus outline)
• Basic characteristics of the Environmental and Social Studies (ESS) lessons outside the classroom.
• Analysis of national curricula of ESS from the viewpoint of realization possibilities of lessons outside the classroom.
• Development social and natural skills and capabilities throught the Environmental and Social Studies lessons outside the classroom.
• Types of ESS lessons outside the classroom: school trip , fild trip, excursion, open-air school.
• Planning the Environmental and Social Studies lessons outside the classroom.
• Didactic approaches for the emplementation the ESS lessons outside the classroom.
• Ways of evaluations the Environmental and Social Studies lessons outside the classroom.
